The MAXTRAX Rope Dampener is a critical safety component of the MAXTRAX Recovery System. Draped over a kinetic, static or winch rope during a recovery, it reduces the unintentional rebound of the rope if it releases under load.
Fill the two sleeves with weighted material such as sand or water bottles, fold and clip closed.
Attach near the MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle using the loop.
